Combining PDFs into one tidy document
Many applications and submissions ask for a single PDF, yet the documents you need usually live in separate files: an application form, ID proof, certificates, payslips and bank statements. Merging them into one file in the right order makes life easier for whoever reviews them and avoids the risk of an attachment being missed. It also helps when you want to keep invoices, receipts or reports for a month together in one place.
Add your files, arrange them in the order you want, and merge. Think about that order before you start. Reviewers generally expect the main form first, followed by supporting documents in the sequence they are listed in the instructions. If the instructions number the documents, follow those numbers exactly. Checking the merged file page by page before you submit catches any document that was added twice or placed in the wrong spot.
Because everything is processed in your browser, there is no upload queue and no file size limit set by a server, although very large files depend on your device's memory. Your documents never leave your computer, which matters for identity documents and financial records. Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked with their password before they can be merged. If a portal has a strict size limit and the merged file is too large, check whether any of the original PDFs are high-resolution scans that could be scanned again at a lower resolution. Keep the separate originals as well, since you may need individual documents again for other applications.

Is there a file size limit?
Only your device's memory. Hundreds of pages usually work fine on a laptop or modern phone.
Can I merge password-protected PDFs?
Not while they are encrypted. Remove the password in a PDF reader first, then merge.
