About this tool

Combine photos of documents into one PDF for submitting forms. A4 pages with a small margin look like a scanned document.

Turning photos of documents into a proper PDF

Phone cameras have replaced scanners for many people, but forms and portals usually ask for a PDF rather than a set of photos. Converting your images into a single PDF makes the submission neat and easy to review. It is ideal for ID cards, certificates, receipts, handwritten notes and multi-page forms that you have photographed one page at a time.

Add your images and arrange them in the right order before creating the PDF. Choosing A4 pages with a small margin makes the result look like a scanned document, which is what most offices expect. Landscape pages suit wide receipts and spreadsheets, while the option to match the image size keeps each photo exactly as it is. JPG, PNG, WebP and several other common image types are accepted.

Better photos make better PDFs. Shoot in good daylight without flash, keep the phone parallel to the page to avoid slanted edges, and place the document on a plain, contrasting surface. Crop each photo to the edges of the paper before converting if your camera captured a lot of background. If the final PDF is too large for an upload limit, compress the images first, since phone photos are often several megabytes each and a long document adds up quickly. Before submitting, open the PDF and zoom in to check that all text is readable. Your photos are processed entirely in your browser and are never uploaded, which is important for identity and financial documents. Naming the file clearly, for example with your name and the document type, also helps the person who receives it.

How to use it

  1. Choose your images and put them in order.
  2. Set the options.
  3. Press "Create PDF". The new file downloads automatically.

Questions

Can I combine multiple images?

Yes. Each image becomes one page, in the order shown.

Does it convert PNG, WebP and screenshots too?

Yes. It works as a general image to PDF converter: JPG, PNG, WebP, GIF and BMP images can be mixed in one PDF, and phone photos are rotated the right way up.

Will the PDF be large?

It is about the size of the images combined. Compress the images first with the Image Compressor if you need a smaller PDF.
