Questions
What size should og:image be?
1200 × 630 pixels. It displays sharply on every major platform and stays under the 5 MB limit some apps use.
Where do I add the image?
Upload it to your site and add <meta property="og:image" content="https://yoursite.com/og/post.png"> to the page head. Our Open Graph Generator writes the full set of tags.
Why keep text away from the edges?
Some apps crop the image to a square or round its corners. Keeping the title in the middle 80% keeps it readable everywhere.
