About this tool
This is an extractive summarizer: it scores every sentence by how many of the text's key words it contains and where it sits, then keeps the best ones in their original order. Nothing is reworded, so the summary never says something the original did not.
How to use it
- Paste the article, report or notes.
- Choose how long the summary should be and whether you want bullets.
- Copy the summary. The stats show how much shorter it is.
Questions
Is this an AI summarizer?
No. It uses word-frequency scoring that runs in your browser, so your text is never uploaded. It picks existing sentences rather than writing new ones.
What kind of text works best?
Articles, reports, essays and long emails with several paragraphs. Very short text, lists and dialogue give weaker summaries because there is less to rank.
Can I control the summary length?
Yes. Choose a share of the original (for example 20%) or an exact number of sentences.
