About this tool

Type notes the way you normally do. Lines with phrases like 'will', 'to do', 'action' or '@name' become action items; 'decided' or 'agreed' become decisions; lines ending in a question mark become open questions. Owners and dates are picked out automatically.

How to use it

  1. Paste your rough notes, one point per line. Put 'Attendees:' on its own line if you like.
  2. Optionally add a meeting title and choose table or checklist for action items.
  3. Copy the organised minutes (Markdown) or the plain task list and share them.

Questions

How does it find action items?

It looks for task language (will, need to, to do, action, follow up), @mentions, and 'Name:' at the start of a line, then pulls out an owner and any date such as 'by Friday' or '15 Nov'.

What format is the output?

Markdown, which pastes cleanly into email, Slack, Notion, Google Docs and most ticket systems. There is also a plain-text task list.

Are my notes uploaded?

No. The organizer runs entirely in your browser, so it is safe for internal meetings.
