Questions
How is marks percentage calculated?
Total marks obtained ÷ total maximum marks × 100. Adding raw marks, not averaging subject percentages, gives the correct result when subjects have different maximums.
What are the CBSE grades?
A1 91–100, A2 81–90, B1 71–80, B2 61–70, C1 51–60, C2 41–50, D 33–40, and E (needs improvement) below 33.
What is best of five?
Many admissions use the five highest subject scores, usually including English. Turn on 'Best of five' to see that percentage.
